T-Shirt Cards

I loved making these cards.  They were a lot of fun.  These are a couple of Father's Day cards for this year.

This one is for our future son-in-law.  This is his first Father's Day and he's a Colts fan.  :)  That is where the name for their son, Colton came from.  :)

Card Stock:  Pacific Point and Whisper White

This one is for my husband who is a Jimmie Johnson fan.

Card Stock:  Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy

I made the template for this card after making the "shirt cards" I posted earlier.  I used a 1 3/8" circle punch for the neckline by only inserting it about 1/2 way.  The pocket is made from the Small Tag punch.  I just realized that I probably should have put the stripes on the back of the sleeves as well.

The letters are from a Die Cut set that I bought at Joann Fabrics earlier this year.

Here is the pattern:

  2. really like this card idea. It works well for many ocassions. Fathers Day and a birthday card for a sports fan. I also like this idea because I have a business making t-shirt quilts and I was looking for a idea for a card to make that says thank you for their business and a way to say that there quilt order is on its way. I've been a quilter, embroider for some time now and I just started to think about adding card making to my list fo fun things to do. I will differently bookmark this and come back for more ideas. Also am thinking about starting a blog and doing this linking party. Can you give me any feed back on if its helped your blog or business?
