Kitchen Remodel

My house belonged to my maternal grandparents. They purchased it in 1952. My grandpa added on to it several times over the years. My grandma passed away in 2002 and my grandpa in 2008. I've had it since he passed away. I was married then and our oldest daughter was just starting out, so we let her live here for a couple of years so they could save up for a house and then we did the same for our youngest daughter. I rented it for a while, then once we divorced, I moved here. I've gradually made improvements over the last 4 years. The biggest being 2 1/2 years ago with a new roof, siding, gutters, insulation, windows, shutters, new railings on the front porch and a total bathroom remodel. A few months later I had new flooring put in the kitchen. Last year, I had new counter tops put in, bought a new stove and the kitchen painted. I decided not to paint the cabinets. The more I looked at them, the more I wished I had. This past week I had them painted and am so happy with them!!  I should have done it earlier.

The walls are a light grey and the back splash is a dark grey.
