Dritz Easy Attacher Snap Fastener Kit Tutorial

I've been using the Dritz Easy Attacher Snap Fastener Kit to attach snaps to various projects.  While attaching them to the bibs I recently made for our "due any day" grandson, I thought I'd do a tutorial.

The Easy Attacher comes with size 16 snaps.  You can use it with size 15 or 16 snaps.

You will need the:
  • Dritz Easy Attacher
  • 2 prong backs
  • 1 socket
  • 1 stud
  • Hammer

 Place prong point side up

Lay fabric over prong and push prong through fabric
Place "stud" in the top section.
 Close
Hit with the hammer 2 or 3 times

Turn your garment over and repeat using the "socket" (place side with small circle up) in place of the "stud"

Hit with the hammer 2 or 3 times.

 I hope this helps.

  1. Nice tutorial for your nifty tool there! I have a different tool for attaching those fasteners but I haven't used it in years! I wonder if I can remember how mine works?
