Zebra Print Valances

Our oldest daughter just moved into a new apartment and asked me to make some new valances for their bedroom.  She just bought a new bedding set, but didn't like the price of the window treatments that matched.  I got online and searched for Quick and Easy Valance patterns and found this one at Super Modern Mom.  After getting Heather's approval on the pattern, I met her at the fabric store yesterday to get some zebra print fabric to match her bedding set.   We're both very pleased with how they turned out.  The tutorial was great and they are VERY easy to make.  I used a lighter weight fabric than in the tutorial, so I doubled the thickness of the tabs (I cut twice as many and stitched two together).




The lighting in her room isn't very good.  I only made 2, these are just different views.
