These are the Mother's Day cards I made for my girls this year.


This one was for my youngest daughter, Brittany.  She has one little boy, age 3.

This one was for my oldest daughter, Heather.  She has 3 little ones.  Two daughters ages 8 and 6 and a little guy, age 2.

Mama Bear Cards

I found this card idea on Dawn's Stamping Thoughts as well.  I love her site!!  I made these for my daughter's for Mother's Day this year along with a new pair of earrings that Madison, my oldest granddaughter helped me pick out.

This is Heather's card

This is Brittany's card:

Card Stock:

Chocolate Chip
Crumb Cake
Pretty in Pink
Basic Black
Whisper White
Real Red

Base:  Chocolate Chip - 4 3/4" by 11", scored at 5 1/2".  Using Framelits Heart Collection (next to largest size) - place tip of heart just barely over the fold line before running through the Big Shot.
Ears:  1 3/8" Circle Punch (brown); 1" Circle Punch (pink)
Eyes: 1" Circle Punch - Whisper White (2) and Crumb Cake (1 - cut in half)
          3/4" Circle Punch - Basic Black (2)
Nose: Large Oval Punch - Crumb Cake
          1" Circle Punch - Black
Tongue: 1/2" Circle Punch - Real Red

Use White Gel Pen for dot on nose and eyes.
I used Dimensionals to "pop up" his eye lids
Ribbon: 1/4" Pretty in Pink grosgrain

For the inside, I cut one heart from the 3rd largest in the Framelits Heart Collection using Whisper White.

These are a variety of cards that I've created over the past couple of months....most of which I designed. If you have any questions, please leave a comment or email me at kellyjmat@comcast.net.

The design (branch from Happy Together stamp set) is barely dipped in bleach before stamping.

In a plasic bowl - put a paper towel or two in the bottom and add enough bleach for them to be damp. Barely touch your stamp to the bleach and then stamp your image.  Each color of card stock will be a different color.  I stamped on scraps first so I knew what color it would be so I'd know what colors to use to coordinate when planning my card.
