Handmade Cards

Here are a few cards I made over the weekend.  Three of them are for an upcoming card class....Bandaid, Red Flower and the Bookworm.

                                                                I love these Bandaid cards!!

Heather's Wedding Invitations

My oldest daughter, Heather, is getting married in September this year.  Her colors are going to be black, orange and white.  No, she's not having a Halloween theme.  :)  Her favorite color is orange.  She LOVES zebra print, but her finance' said no zebra print in the wedding, so that is how she came up with black and orange.

I created several invitations for her to choose from.  I'll reveal in August, after they have been mailed out, which one she chose.

Which one do you like best?

Grandpa Turns 94

My Grandpa turned 94 years old yesterday.  My husband, our kids, grandkids, myself and his daughter went to visit him on Sunday to celebrate.  His daughter took cake and ice cream to the assisted living facility where he lives yesterday for a party with the other residents. A few of his other family members attended as well.  He seemed to have a good time.

Grandpa and his Great Great Grandson.

Here is the card I made for him:

This card is actually black and red...not hot pink.  :)

Base:  4 1/4" x 11"; scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"
Cupcake:  Build a Cupcake Punch
