Dot Grid Journal Spreads - Christmas and Birthday Themes

This is for the last week of December in my Happy Planner dot grid journal.  This week not only has Christmas Eve and Christmas, it also has mine and my dad's birthday's.  So I did some Christmas and some birthday along with some winter.   As always, the script stickers are from my Etsy shop.  Most of the boxes are from Mojo-jojo Plans sticker books.

Birthday June Weekly Planner Spread

This week I had 2 birthdays and a birthday party so I of course had to to a birthday spread. I love the bright colors. Some of the stickers are from The Happy Planner and the others from my shop, Indiana Inker Plans.  I use this planner as a memory planner, so I get behind in it once in a while and have to play catch up.

Birthday Weekly Planner Spread

This week of May 16-21 in my Classic Happy Planner I did a birthday theme. My youngest granddaughter’s birthday is the 16th and her little brother’s is on the 6th. They had a combined party on the 21st. My niece's birthday is also on the 21st.  I need to go back and add that in.  She turned 9 and her brother turned 1. 

I use this as a memory planner, so I am always back planning in this planner.

This is the card I made for my son for his birthday this year. As per my normal style, it is very basic and simple.

I used Stamin' Up! cardstock for the base and the accents on the front. The fish paper I purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Handmade Birthday Cards Using Balloon Punch

These are a couple of birthday cards I made for September birthdays. I love the balloon punch from Stampin' Up!

I used Stampin'Up! card stock for the base and balloons. The printed papers I've purchased at Hobby Lobby over the years.

Elle Oh Elle Birthday Card

I made this simple birthday card for one of my girlfriends. I used Elle Oh Elle paper from Hobby Lobby and added some Elle Oh Elle stickers to the inside. I rarely use stickers in my handmade cards, but liked the idea with this one.

I used white card stock from Hobby Lobby for the base and Blushing Bride card stock from Stampin' Up!  The punches, stamp and ink are from Stampin' Up! as well. I'm not sure if any of these products from SU are still available or not.

Flamingo Handmade Birthday Card

This is a very simple card I made for my fiance's oldest daughter who loves flamingos.  I found this stamp at JoAnn a few weeks ago. I would have liked to have done a punch art flamingo, but I didn't have any punches that would work for that.

The base is Smokey Grey from Stampin' Up!  The stripes paper I picked up at Hobby Lobby. The ink is Regal Rose.

Volleyball Handmade Birthday Card

I made this card for my oldest daughter for her birthday. She loves playing volleyball. I used stickers on this card. I use stickers a lot in my decorative planning, but not usually on my cards. I purchased these stickers at Hobby Lobby as well as the Volleyball paper. The base of the card is Basic Black card stock from Stampin'Up!  The silver foil stickers are a little harder to see.

Punch Art Drum Set Handmade Birthday Card

I had a lot of fun making this Drum Set card for my brother. Punch art cards are my favorite to make. I got the basic idea from Pinterest.   He lives in FL and is a member of a band, Just 4 Fun. I'm hoping to get down there next year to listen to them play.  He's been playing since he was a teenager.  I miss going to listen to play.

These are the supplies that I used. I used Stampin' Up! papers and inks. Papers are Cherry Cobbler, Basic Grey, Basic Black and Smokey Slate. The smaller drums are 3/4" squares. The Happy Birthday stamp is Stampin' Up!  The J4F stickers I've had for a long time.

Congratulations Handmade Card

I made this card for my aunt for her upcoming retirement. I wanted something bright and cheery. I think it could also make a nice baby card, which wasn't my intention. :)  I wish I would have put Happy Retirement on the front instead of congratulations.

I used Stampin' Up! paper, punches and inks. The base is Basic Grey. The balloons are Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo. The striped paper is from a small paper pack I purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Handmade T-Shirt Card

I've made t-shirt cards before, but it's been awhile. These are quicker to make than they look. I made this one for my guy for Father's Day. I have the pattern in this post from a few years ago.

I used Real Red and Slate Grey paper from Stampin' Up!

The numbers and letters are from a MAMBI die set that I bought years ago.

Handmade Birthday Cards

These are a few birthday cards I made for this month. I had several cards to make this month with Mother's Day, deaths and birthdays.

As always, I used Stampin' Up! paper and ink.  I also used their punches and stamps.  Embossing folders are Cuttlebug.  I've had most of these things for awhile, so they may no longer be available.  The bear is a Sizzlet from Stampin' Up!

Handmade Race Car Birthday Card

I made this card for my guy’s brother. He enjoys most, if not all types of racing and actually has a fancy remote control car that he races.

I used Stampin’ Up! Basic Black cardstock for the base and Whisper White under the checkered paper. The “Happy Birthday” is from a SU set called Sassy Salutations. It is stamped in Pumpkin Pie. The cars I printed from online a few years ago. I cut them out and colored them in with SU markers Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler.  The checkered paper I picked up from Hobby Lobby a few years ago.

Handmade Coca-Cola Birthday Card

I work for Coca-Cola, and mostly with the drivers. I decided this year that I wanted to make birthday cards for each of them. I used Stampin'Up! card stock. The "Coca-Cola" I wrote with a sketch pen on my Sillouette.  Hopefully the drivers will like the cards throughout the year. These are just the first 2. I plan on making each one a little different. I gave the first one to a driver yesterday, and he was very pleased with it.  He's artistic, so I was glad that he liked it.

Happy Planning - Handmade Cards List

Another one of my goals for this year is to make handmade cards for everyone for their birthdays. I created a list in hopes to help achieve this goal. I didn't make the list just for 2019 so I could use it for future years as well. I have since added everyone's names.  My writing isn't the greatest, so I usually don't post "after the pen" photos. 

I'm not sure which book the month stickers are from. "Handmade Cards" is from the Alphabet sticker book. The stickers at the bottom of each page are from the Miss Maker sticker books. The mini birthday cakes I ordered from Cheerful Planner Girl on Etsy.

Handmade Paw Print Birthday Card

This card I made for my dad for his birthday. He's been retired for several years and stays home most of the time. They have 2 dogs and 4 cats that keep him quite busy. 😊🐾

Quick and easy projects are my favorite  I purchased the paw print paper from Hobby Lobby. The card stock, punches and inks are from Stampin' Up!   I've had the Happy Birthday stamp for a while and not sure where I purchased it from.

Gift Card Holder

My dad's birthday is shortly after Christmas. The easiest thing to get him is an Amazon gift card. I saw this video on Facebook for a quick and easy pattern.  I will definitely be making more of these. I used Stampin' Up! cardstock, punches and ink. I've had the stamp for awhile and don't remember where I bought it.  The star paper I purchased at Hobby Lobby last year.
