I've Been Published!!

I was contacted last month for my permission from Papercraft Inspirations to include one of my cards in their January 2013 issue.  She didn't mention where she had found it, but I was very surprised and honored to be chosen.  This is a card that I created for my youngest daughter's birthday this year.  Papercraft Inspirations is published in the UK, but also available online.

Handmade Christmas Gifts 2012

I didn't end up making as many gifts this year as in the past.  This year I hope to make more.  That was also the plan for this year, it just didn't turn out that way.  :)

Ceramic Tile Coasters

These coasters were fun and very easy to make. I used this tutorial.

I made these for a friend with his company logo (Connect! Madison County)

 These were for my son.
I bought the paper at Hobby Lobby

I made 2 sets of the paw prints....one for my dad and his wife and the other for a friend and his wife.
The background paper was purchased at Hobby Lobby.  For the paw print I used the large heart punch and small oval punch from Stampin' Up! with Chocolate Chip card stock.

I made these for my oldest daughter and her finance'.  They are going to decorate part of their new house in Americana.  I used the large star punch from Stampin' Up! (discontinued) with Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I purchased the background paper at Hobby Lobby.

I made these for my youngest daughter and her finance'
This background paper also came from Hobby Lobby.  I stamped "Touchdown" (stamp set is discontinued) in Chocolate Chip ink onto  white card stock and adhered it to a piece of chocolate chip card stock.

Dry Erase Frames

I made these for my daughters.  These are also very quick and easy to make.  I found the basic idea on Pinterest from this website.  I used scrapbook paper that looks like notebook paper.  I used my Big Shot die cut machine to make the word "Notes".  I decorated the frames, then added magnets to the back.  I also made each of them matching magnets (I forgot to include them in the top picture).

I used unfinished wooden stars and sponged them with Stampin' Up! inks Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler.

M&M Flannel Rag Blanket

I made this for my youngest granddaughter who is 4 years old.  My craft room is decorated in M&M's and she calls them "nimmy nimmies".  It has 25 - 9" squares
I've had the M&M flannel for years.

Re-usable Swiffer Dusters

These were also very quick and easy.  I used this tutorial.

Baby Doll Wipes

These took about 10 minutes to make from this tutorial
A little fleece and a little flannel......

Christmas Tags

I belong to a Stamp Club and this year we decided to do a Tag Exchange for our Christmas Party and decorate an Altoid Tin to put them in.  I decorated my tin before designing my tags, so they didn't end up matching.

I cut 2 pieces of card stock 1 1/2" square, adhered the handles to the back of the front, along with a piece of stamped tissue paper, then adhered the other square to the back, then decorated the front.

Tag Swap

We had our Christmas Party at a Stamp Club I belong to today.  This year we decided to each decorate an Altoids tin and create a gift tag and exchange the tags.  I didn't get pictures of the boxes, but these are the tags that I received in exchange.

What a creative group we have!  :)

These are the ones I created

Turtle Thank You Card

I had fun making this card.  I found the turtle on Pinterest and had a friend I wanted to make a card for using him.  He's helped me "come out of my shell" over the past year, so I thought it was fitting.  :)

I found the pattern for the turtle on Tarheel Stamper.  I used different colored card stock than she did.  I used Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, and So Saffron.  The stamp set has been discontinued.
