Mini Planner Spread - Pressed Florals

This week in my Pink is the New Black mini Happy Planner I used the Pressed Floral sticker books. I love these sticker books. They have such a pretty color palette. I loved all of the floral sticker books in the Happy Planner spring release this year.  I'm starting to do better with the dashboard layout.  That figures now that I'm thinking about changing to a Teacher layout.  I'm not a teacher, but I think that layout will work well for me.  I'm at least going to give it a try.  I'm going to purchase some printables from Etsy first to make sure I like it before I buy an actual planner.  What is your favorite layout?

Classic Planner Spread - Pastels

This week in my Define Your Purpose Classic Happy Planner, I used the Pastel Dreams and Pastel Mega Sticker books. I've not used either one for quite a while. I love the color combo in this spread. I only used 1 of my journaling cards this week.  I love using them to hide my functional sticker clutter and my handwriting.  I love using the bigger stickers in the side bar as well.  I always struggle knowing what to put there.

DIY Color Street Nail Strips Remover Jar

Here is a quick and easy way to make a nail polish remover jar for removing your Color Street nail strips. I bought the jar at Hobby Lobby on sale, sponge at Dollar Tree (pack of 2) and Mineral Fusion on Amazon.  Once you've completed the steps, let it sit for a few minutes before using to let the sponges soak up the remover. Mineral Fusion is quite pricey, but it is much better for your nails than the lesser expensive ones.

Insert one or two fingers, let sit for a few seconds then swirl around until your strips are removed. Glitters and if you have more than one layer will take a little longer.

After using the jar a couple of times I ended up adding the 4th strip as well.

Classic Weekly Planner Spread - Modern Farmhouse

This week in my classic Define Your Purpose Happy Planner I used the Modern Farmhouse sticker book. This is an older sticker book with a softer color palette. I used my journaling cards again in this spread to hide my functional stickers and my handwriting. I also used Crayola colored pencils to color in the flowers on a couple of the stickers.  Zoom in and you can see the details.

Mini Weekly Planner Spread - Happy Life

This week I chose to use the Happy Life sticker book from MAMBI in my mini Happy Planner.  I really like the color palette in this sticker book. I chose to use the blues and oranges.  I'm getting better at planning with the dashboard layout.  What is your favorite layout to use?

Color Street Mixed Mani - Mystic Marble

I will admit that the design sets are not my favorites, but I really like Mystic Marble. It was part of a small limited edition. Of course I only ordered one and by the time I tried it, it was sold out. I tend to wear the darker colors as they match most things I would wear. I used Only in Vegas as an accent set (now retired) with Glittersweet over all of the Mystic Marble. Glittersweet is my current favorite set.

Weekly Planner Spread - Pressed Florals

As I've mentioned previously, I've become a floral fan with the Happy Planner Spring release. I'm not sure what they did, but I fell in love with the florals from this release. I used the Pressed Florals sticker books for this spread. I love how it turned out. I love the soft colors in this book.

Mini Spring Planner Spread

This week in my mini Happy Planner I decided to use the Spring sticker book from MAMBI. I’ve used this sticker book more than I thought I would. I probably need to get another copy. I’m getting into florals more this year, so if you follow this blog, you've probably noticed an increase in floral spreads. 🌸🌻  I tend to struggle with the dashboard layout, but I am pleased with how well this one turned out.

What are your favorite floral sticker books?

Bumblebee Decor

I have been having fun decorating for spring. I’ve decorated for holidays and Fall in the past, but never for Spring. I purchased my 3 tier tray just before Easter and had it decorated for the holiday. I decided that after Easter, I wanted to decorate it with a bumblebee theme. Most everything came from Hobby Lobby.  When I’m on a mission like this, we’ll go Hobby Lobby hoppin’. We have one local store and 3 others that aren’t too far away. We stop at other stores as well, but Hobby Lobby is the main focus. We do this when they are having a clearance sale as well.

I love this 3 tier tray and have had so much fun decorating it.  If you have one, share pictures of yours in the comments.

The bees around the outside are buttons from JoAnn that I cut the shanks off of and
glued magnets to the back.

This mug we picked up at Home Goods, I believe. I got the flowers and the picks from Hobby Lobby. I made the coaster out of fabric from Hobby Lobby.

This dresser is in our dining room. Soon it will be painted black with the front of the drawers to match the wood cornice above the window and I’ll add some black handles.

This mug came from Dollar Tree. I added the “Bee Happy” with vinyl and a couple of “bee” stickers.

The beehive came from Hobby Lobby.

Happy Planner Contact List

The Happy Planner came out with contact sheets in one of their recent releases. I decided to get some and use for my Color Street business. I had a skinny mini planner that I'd bought on clearance a while back that I never used. I took the covers and turned them around so I could decorate the front and added some matching discs.  I thought this would be a fun way to keep track of my customers addresses.

Planner Sticker Printables

One of my favorite planner sticker shops, Imagine That By Lori, now has a printables Etsy shop, Imagine That By Lori Too.  She was part of a planner sale last weekend, so I purchased a couple of her printable sticker sheets. I love Wacky Holidays, so I purchased those. I also love colored boxes, so I got those as well. I cut them using my Silhouette Cameo.  Be sure to check out her shop and follow her on IG to know when she releases new items and is having a sale.

These are not affiliate links, I'm just sharing one of purchases.

The Wacky Holiday sets each have 4 months included

This set comes with several colors included

April Monthly Planner Spread

I kept my April monthly spread very simple. I don’t use my monthly other than to mark birthdays usually. I don’t have any friends or family with April birthdays. I mostly used the Spring sticker book from The Happy Planner. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Mini Weekly Spread - Color Me Happy

This week in my mini Happy Planner catch all planner I used the sticker book Color Me Happy. I got it on clearance at Hobby Lobby over the weekend. I love the color palette, but there are several stickers I probably won’t use, which is why I didn't purchase it when it was released.

Crocheted Baby Hats

I have been on a crochet kick lately. I love making baby hats, so I’ve made a few recently.  I used this pattern for most of them, but made a few changes as well. It's a super simple pattern and one that is easy to change up a little bit to fit your needs.

The boys rainbow hat below, my daughter-in-law asked me to make for their rainbow baby due next month.  They have struggled for a few years to get him, after miscarrying a few times.  We're all anxious for his arrival.  The other rainbow hats I just made since I had extra yarn on hand......same with the football hat.  I just needed a project.  :)  The baseball hat is also for my new grandson due next month.

Create Your Own Sticker Book

As part of the Spring Release, The Happy Planner came out with a “create your own sticker book”.  It is perfect for those that pull their Happy Planner sticker books apart. I had taken my sticker books apart early on due to their sticker books not being as themed as they are today. This will make it a lot easier to be able to find the stickers I’m looking for even though I had them organized in a file system. I could still use a couple more of them.

I know some of them are hard to read since I used gold foil letters:

  • Celebrations
  • Icons
  • Quotes
  • Letters/Numbers
  • Seasonal
  • Boxes
  • Colorful Boxes

Classic Planner Spread - Beauty in Florals

Last weeks planner spread in my classic Define Your Purpose Happy Planner using the new sticker book from the Spring Release, Beauty in Florals. I’m not a big floral fan, but loved all of the florals from this release. To hide all of my stickers and writing, I used my journaling cards again this week.
